Client

Public company leading the comprehensive management of the water cycle in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, seeking to optimize its supply and sanitation network through the implementation of an intelligent platform with early incident detection, advanced operational analytics and automated alert systems for its technical teams.

Challenge

Implement a modern solution that would enable global and real-time control of the supply and sanitation network, centralizing information from different remote-control systems.

The main objective was to optimize leak detection, improve consumption efficiency and ensure immediate action in the event of incidents through automated SMS notifications for field technicians.

Problem

  • Lack of real-time monitoring: Previous systems did not allow immediate detection of leaks or failures, causing response delays and increased resource waste.
  • Fragmented operational management: The absence of a unified platform made it difficult to perform a comprehensive network analysis and coordinate between departments.
  • Limited analysis and query capabilities: Existing tools did not provide clear or flexible data visualization, hindering decision-making.
  • Lack of automated alert systems: Incident notifications depended on manual review, increasing response times and reducing operational efficiency.

Solution

How we do it?

A comprehensive intelligent monitoring and management platform was developed based on Dragsa, aimed at the digitalization and optimization of the entire water cycle.

  • Real-time monitoring and immediate detection: Dragsa integrated remote-control and remote-management systems, enabling real-time visualization of critical network indicators and detecting leaks at the exact moment they occur.
  • Intuitive interface and advanced analytics: The new interface, designed to simplify complex queries, offered interactive dashboards and analytical tools that supported operational decision-making.
  • Automated alert system: An SMS notification module was implemented to inform technicians of any detected anomalies, drastically improving response times and field efficiency.

Results

  • Immediate detection of leaks and water losses in tanks and pipelines.
  • Significant increase in operational efficiency and incident response.
  • Reduced reaction times and optimized use of resources.
  • Full alert automation, ensuring direct communication with maintenance teams.
