Navantia is an international leader in the design and construction of naval platforms and complex industrial systems.

Within the framework of its industrial facilities, it needed an advanced solution that would allow for the centralized control, digitization, and monitoring of gas plants and electrical transformer stations.

The objective was to have a unified SCADA system, integrated with PLC, that would offer complete visibility of the status of the systems, alarms, historical data, and the ability to take immediate action.

Challenge

Design and implement a fluid and energy SCADA system capable of integrating multiple industrial plants, providing real-time monitoring, remote control, and a scalable architecture.

The solution had to be highly reliable, secure, and aligned with Navantia's industrial standards, while also allowing for future expansions and new control points.

Problem

  • Lack of centralized monitoring
    Gas stations and transformers did not have a single platform to consolidate statuses, alarms, and critical variables.

    The absence of an advanced SCADA system hindered historical analysis, traceability, and data-driven decision-making.

Solution

How we do it?

A fluid and energy SCADA system was developed and integrated, based on advanced PLC programming and supervision using WinCC OA, fully adapted to Navantia's industrial infrastructure.
